crossmedia journalism
This is my, timmi's journalistic portfolio.
A platform for my productions, however timmi is not the subject. It is the people around me as well as the stories and events I am following.

(solo) PRODUCTIONS
Podcast, Blog, or Film: Today’s Multimedia Journalism demands journalists to be able to produce on all platforms. Being able to work and distribute solely also opens the opportunity to build independent platforms and audiences. As a Backpack Journalist I manage every stage of the process, from strategic planning and on-the-ground reporting to final post-production.
SOCIAL MEDIA journalism
Social Media is mit.timmi’s base. It is my journalistic area of expertise after having gained experience as a social media reporter at one of Germany’s biggest news outlets (ZDF) and as a host for an Edinburgh-based magazine (SURGE). Working independently it allows me to follow events and people globally and produce for everyone, everywhere.
